How it works
A clear path through your dispute.
Start with the facts. Understand your options before sending a demand or filing a claim.
01 / Describe what happened
Write a dated timeline in your own words. Identify the agreement, what went wrong, and what would resolve the dispute. Separate facts you can document from assumptions.
02 / Identify the right party
Use your agreement, invoice, or official business records to identify the person or legal entity involved. A trading name may not be the legal name you need. Verify addresses rather than guessing.
03 / Organize your evidence
Gather contracts, receipts, photographs, messages, and payment records. Keep originals and make clearly labeled copies. Our preparation worksheet includes a checklist; it does not upload or store documents.
04 / Make a clear demand
A demand typically explains the facts, the amount or action requested, and a reasonable response deadline. Check whether your jurisdiction requires a demand. Automated letters and PDF letter generation are planned, not available today.
05 / Keep delivery records
If you send a letter yourself, retain the letter and any delivery record. Certified demand-letter mailing is a planned Sueify service. It is not the same as formally serving court papers.
06 / Consider a resolution
Keep responses and notes of any agreement. Consider negotiation or mediation where appropriate. Do not let discussions distract you from filing deadlines.
07 / Check your court’s requirements
Confirm eligibility, the correct court, filing deadlines, fees, forms, and service instructions using official resources. You remain responsible for filing and attending court; Sueify does not represent you.
YOUR NEXT STEP
Put the facts in order.
Begin with a clear record of what happened and what you’re asking for.
